CEILING FANS

All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans.

TREATMENTS

Massage and reflexology treatments are available. Please arrange with management in advance.

ADAPTORS

Adaptors are available for appliances which do not fit our standard electrical sockets.

BBQ

There is a portable outside BBQ available to use at the pool or stoep. Braai-wood is available on request.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Check-in time is from 14H00. Please advise management of your expected time of arrival.

Check-out time is at 11H00. Arrangements for a late check-out can be made with management in advance.

HAIRDRYER

A hairdryer is stored in the pantry and is available for your personal use (available on in ROOIBOS)

BLANKETS

Blankets are available in your bedroom cupboard if necessary. There are hot water bottles in the pantry should you need them.

HEATING

Heating panels have been placed in all suites.

Towel rails are heated.

There is a fireplace in the living room with firewood provided.

INTERNET

Wireless broadband internet is available.

LAUNDRY

Rooibos House has a fully automatic washing machine and outdoor drying facilities. There is an iron and ironing board available in the pantry.

Should you wish to use a laundry service, there is one available in Stanford.

POWER FAILURE

In the event of a power failure, you will find a torch in the top drawer in the kitchen and in each bedroom cupboard.

RESTAURANTS

There are many excellent restaurants in the area. See HERE for a list of restaurants in Stanford and Hermanus.

SMOKING

Please refrain from smoking inside the house. Ashtrays are provided in designated areas outside. Please exercise extreme caution as the surrounding fynbos is extremely flammable, especially during the dry season.

SWIMMING POOL

There is a heated, private swimming pool at Rooibos House. For safety reasons, no diving is permitted. Unaccompanied children are not permitted at the pool.

SWIMMING TOWELS

No bathroom towels are to be used at the swimming pool. You will find swimming towels in the wardrobe in the passage.

TELEVISION

A television with DSTV channels and DVD player is at your disposal in the separate TV lounge.

WATER

Complimentary 1 litre drinking water is supplied and PLEASE bring your own drinking water.

Please help us conserve water wherever possible – it is a very scarce resource in the area.

WALKS

There are well laid out trails on the farm for you to explore. Please be aware that as it is a farm it has its fair share of reptiles and snakes. Treat them with respect and they will leave you alone.
