Brunia Walker Bay Wines Cold Mountain Vineyards, home to Brunia Wines, is situated high on "Die Koue Berge" 20km East South East of Stanford on the Elim/Sandies Glen gravel road. The owner Willie and Annetia du Preez bought the farm in 2004 and development commenced in 2005 and erected a farmstead as well as establishing 11.7ha Sauvignon Blanc, 1.7ha Shiraz & 1.2ha Semillon. Together with its cool maritime climate and granite eroded soils, the farm makes use of this special terroir for growing grapes to produce our wines.

Vaalvlei Wine Vaalvlei farm, 9km north-east of Stanford is owned and worked by the Terblanche family. The 3ha vineyard is planted on "koffieklip" and sandstone soils and the proximity fo Walker Bay can also be observed in our wines. Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz grapes are produced here in this new and exciting wine producing area and are used to make handcrafted wines. The entrance of Vaalvlei Farm is left opposite our main entrance gate.
